A few words from the President:

Choosing the right university is both an important and a difficult decision. After all, your future depends on this decision. You should therefore consider your individual abilities and aptitudes and weigh up all the pros and cons. It is also important to know one’s own interests and knowledge of a profession that will coincide with both them and the demand on the labour market both in Poland and in the European Union.
The Sopot School of Higher Education is committed to the principle of equality. No form of discrimination, humiliation or restriction of students’ and teachers’ freedoms is accepted. The Sopot University allows everything that is not forbidden by law: any form of dress, appearance, religion and hobbies.
We also make sure that science has the opportunity to co-opt and test its theses with practice. That is why one of our important ideas is to work closely with business and to follow current market expectations.
Our University’s strategy entails effective organization of its activity, oriented towards:
- increasing the number of well-educated graduates who are able to work or conduct business activity in any place in the world
- increasing the number of scientific research projects, financed through various sources
- broadening our international cooperation
- broadening our cooperation with business
- enabling our graduates to continue their education at MA studies
- providing postgraduate studies, courses and specialist training
- providing educational courses in English
- improvement of the teaching infrastructure, by offering additional teaching space and workshop classrooms with specialized equipment
- development of e-learning
The mission of the Sopot University of Applied Sciences is to educate highly specialized professionals, at the level of higher education, having both the general and the practical knowledge, as well as the necessary skills.
